AIRBORNE GYMNASTICS CLUB
Official Club Announcement
Date: 26th March 2026
Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are pleased to share an important update about the future of Airborne Gymnastics Club.
From 1st April 2026, the club will be under new ownership as Jason has made the decision
to retire from running the club. We want to take this opportunity to thank Jason for his many
years of commitment, passion, and dedication to building the club and supporting our
gymnasts. Although he is stepping back from ownership, he will continue to be on hand in
the short term to support a smooth and positive transition.
We are delighted to announce that Stuart Benford will become the new owner of Airborne
Gymnastics Club. Stuart brings a strong commitment to developing the club further and
ensuring it remains a safe, positive, and inspiring environment for all gymnasts.
We are also pleased to welcome back Beth and Alicia Benford, who will be rejoining
Airborne as coaches. Both are returning from their time at Nile Wilson Gymnastics with the
aim of bringing excellent experience, enthusiasm, and the strong passion for developing
young gymnasts.
Aims and Goals
• Enhancing the quality and consistency of coaching
• Increasing competition opportunities for gymnasts who wish to progress
• Introducing more awards and achievement pathways
• Refreshing and improving equipment where needed
• Creating an even more engaging and supportive experience for all members
Farewell Message from Jason
Sixteen years ago, I set up Airborne Gymnastics Club. I could never have imagined what an
honour and privilege it would be to watch so many children grow in skill, confidence and
character.
The club has been a huge part of my life, and I am incredibly proud of everything we have
achieved together. Whilst it is time for me to take a step back and watch my own children
grow, I know the club is in excellent hands with Stuart and all the coaching team whose
passion and vision will take Airborne to exciting new heights.A heartfelt thank you to all the coaches, gymnasts and families for your support over the
years. I will always look back on my time here with great pride and fond memories and I
look forward to supporting the team during the transition and future. Gymnastics, coaching
and Airborne gym club will always have a special place in my heart.
– Jason

fantastic community. Gymnastics has been a huge part of our lives, and we are passionate

create even more opportunities for every gymnast to shine. We are committed to providing a
supportive, high-quality environment where all members can thrive.
We can’t wait to meet all the children and parents and work together to make this next
chapter a really positive one for the club”

Dear Parents / Guardians
We are excited to share some fantastic news at Airborne Gymnastics. Over the coming weeks, we will be introducing a new club management app called Coacha, which will help us improve communication, organisation, and most importantly, allow you to track your child’s gymnastics progress more easily.
Coacha is a modern club management platform designed specifically for sports clubs. Through the parent portal, you will be able to access important information about your child, receive updates, and stay connected with everything happening at Airborne Gymnastics in one convenient place.
One of the features we are particularly excited about is the ability to track your child’s skills and progression. Coaches will be able to record skills, badges, and achievements directly within the system, allowing you to see how your gymnast is developing and what they are working towards. This will provide greater visibility of progress and help celebrate your child’s achievements along the way.
The Coacha app will also allow you to:
- View class information and attendance
- Receive important club updates and announcements
- Report absences quickly and easily
- Access your child’s progress and achievements
- Stay informed about events, assessments, and gradings
• Manage communication in one place
To enable access to the new system, we kindly ask all parents to provide the following information:
- Parent/Guardian full name(s)
- Email address
This information will allow us to send you your secure invitation link to create your Coacha account.
Please reply to this email with your details at your earliest convenience so we can begin setting up access for everyone.
We are really excited about introducing this new system, as it will help enhance the overall experience for both gymnasts and parents, while allowing you to stay more connected to your child’s gymnastics journey.
Further details, including how to download the app and get started, will be shared soon.
Thank you for your continued support.
